Four Types of Friends That I Need

A few times ago I had attended an organization training which held by an organization that I followed. In that training, I got a lot of new knowledge and a lot of inspiration, such as how to choose a good friend. We have to be selective in choosing friends because it’s effect on our lives, I would love to have friends or colleagues who have the following criteria, not intend to sort out friends, I certainly can be friends with anyone but I have to interact with friends who have the following criteria:

1. Wise

As a woman who is still easy and passionate and often decides something to use feelings, I really need a colleague who always willing to give advice to me, willing to give advice when I am confused, would criticize all my mistakes wisely and sincerely, not even be Pretending to criticize me in front of the crowd and as if wanting to drop my self-esteem in public. Just like Abu Bakr As-Siddiq who always became well-known as a wisdom friend.

2. Brave

Brave is a praiseworthy trait that must be possessed by humans, dare to say and defend the right, not fear the oppressive enemies, dare to take risks in running or trying something new that can make us grow better towards the future. Someone who is feared by enemies and loved by friends, like Umar bin Khattab who always defends the righteous and dare to hit all those who do wrong.

3. Generous

As fellow human beings, we should help each other and not be counting to his friend. We are certainly dreaming of a friend who has advantages in terms of financial and have a generous attitude and when giving something with sincerity, not because it was forced and brought it up. Like a friend of a prophet Muhammad SAW, Uthman ibn Affan. He was among the richest people in his era. But, he had a humble nature and voluntarily took out his entire treasure in God's way and was willing to help his other companions. Friends of this type are needed in addition to making us learn how to be generous and also when we fall, there is a support that can make us rise again, for example when our business crash there are friends who are willing to lend capital for us to rise again.

4. Smart

In running an organization or running a business we need intelligent people who have great and amazing ideas for our program, a drafter is needed, Ali bin Abi Talib is a very smart friend who is very helpful in the propagation’s strategy of Prophet Muhammad SAW.

There are four types friends that’s I need, wise, brave, generous and smart, I hope I can get a friend with those types of people and I do hope I can be a human which have those types.
